The PERPENDICULAR Project, born in 2009 in the city of Belo Horizonte-Brazil, is characterized as a contemporary art project focused on ephemeral artistic manifestations: performative expressions, urban interventions, process installations. Since then, the project has proposed events and encounters in urban spaces: squares, streets, cities, neighborhoods; and artistic territories such as: museums, art galleries, artistic institutions, activating collaborative networks of expression, capable of expanding relationships between artists, curators, researchers, students and the general public.

Configuring itself as an event of process-based actions, the PERPENDICULAR project will add the 
presentation of several artists and their proposals, vitalizing individual practices that, being collaborative, activate networks of connections and exchange. In this way, it is intended to make possible reflections on "where we are and where we are going in the expanded field of art", invoking the interdisciplinarity manifested in the current forms of artistic expression.

The objective is to activate collaborative networks, expanding the exchange between artists, groups, physical spaces and communities, it is to collaborate from this confluence for a dialogue that can establish new artistic possibilities, also, design the expressive creation of artists.
